Who Can Visit?

St. Louis Food Pantry welcomes registered parishioners and anyone living in the following zip codes: 78756, 78757, portions of 78752, 78753, 78758, 78727, 78729, 78731, and 78759. If you take the bus, they're happy to serve you too.

Items Needed for Registration

Please bring these two things each time you visit:

  • A photo ID
  • Proof of your current address (something that came in the mail within the last 30 days)

Good to Know

This is a drive-thru distribution, so please stay in your vehicle and line up behind other cars. Have your ID and proof of address ready to show when you arrive. Please don't cut in line or hold a spot for someone else. No smoking is allowed on the property. The pantry may refuse service to anyone showing threatening behavior or who appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Food & Essentials

St. Louis Food Pantry is a partner agency of the Central Texas Food Bank. They provide groceries, dry goods, and fresh seasonal vegetables grown right at the St. Louis Farm.

How to Pick Up

The pantry is located at 2114 St. Joseph Boulevard off Burnet Road, in the Parish Social Ministries Building. Distributions happen every Saturday from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. This is a drive-thru service, so you'll stay in your car the whole time.

Ways to Give

The pantry welcomes food donations and financial gifts. Keep in mind that opened or used items, and homemade preserves, jams, or jellies can't be accepted due to Central Texas Food Bank policy. Suggested food donations include:

  • 1-2 lb. white rice
  • 1-2 lb. dry pinto beans
  • Oatmeal
  • 14 oz. canned corn
  • 14 oz. canned green beans
  • Canned tuna, salmon, or chicken
  • Spam
  • Mac and cheese

Every dollar you give helps serve the North Austin community. You can donate online or call 512-454-0384 for more information.

How to Join the Team?

Volunteers are always needed to help with weekly food distributions. Ways you can help include:

  • Sorting food donations
  • Stocking shelves
  • Helping with distribution
  • Greeting clients
  • Registering clients on the computer
  • Picking up donations during the week or on Saturdays
