Who Can Visit?

Holy Trinity Center Food Pantry serves neighbors in Central Dallas and surrounding communities. Familiar neighborhoods include Cedar Springs, Oak Lawn, Uptown, Turtle Creek, Love Field, and nearby areas. Help is offered regardless of religious affiliation or ethnicity.

The pantry is appointment-based. First-time visitors don't need an appointment and can walk in during pantry hours to receive food and get scheduled for their first appointment. All future appointments are made in-house during pantry hours.

If you miss an appointment, you can email foodpantry@htccd.org to request a make-up appointment. Responses come within 2 to 3 days. There's a 30-minute grace period, but late arrivals may have their slot given to another neighbor. A limited number of walk-ins are also available, though they're not guaranteed.

How Often You Can Visit?

General neighbors can visit every two weeks. Seniors ages 60 and up can also visit every two weeks.

Good to Know

Parking is available in the handicapped spots on Gilbert Avenue in front of the pantry during pantry hours, even if you don't have a handicap permit. If those spaces are full, you can park in the main church parking lot nearby.

Food & Essentials

The pantry provides non-perishable food and hygiene products. Most-needed items include shelf-stable proteins like peanut butter, canned tuna, canned meat, and beans, as well as rice, pasta, and cooking oil. Hygiene products include shampoo, razors, diapers, and toothpaste.

How to Pick Up

Clients are seen by appointment. Each client shops with a personal shopper volunteer who walks with them through the pantry and helps them choose their food items and bag everything up. This process is designed to be dignified and personal, rooted in the Vincentian mission of Holy Trinity.

Ways to Give

The pantry welcomes food and financial donations. Non-perishable food items and hygiene products are most needed. Perishable donations are accepted with prior coordination. You can drop off donations with an usher at Sunday Mass, at the food pantry during open hours, or at the parish office. Financial contributions can be made online at pushpay.com/g/htccdloveyourneighbor. For questions, email foodpantry@htccd.org.

How to Join the Team?

Volunteers are the heart of this ministry. Ways to help include intake and personal shopping, stocking, and loading and unloading. Bilingual volunteers are especially needed. Volunteers must be Safe Environment Certified, which is a quick and easy process the pantry can help with. You can sign up online at signupgenius.com/go/10C0B49ADAF22A2FBCE9-49219902-holy or email foodpantry@htccd.org with questions. Responses come within 2 to 5 business days.
