Who Can Visit?

The Salvation Army of North Texas is here to help anyone who needs food. They serve their neighbors without discrimination, welcoming people regardless of race, gender, or background. If you need food assistance, you're welcome to come. To find the location closest to you and get started, you can call the main help hotline at 214-637-8100.

Food & Essentials

The Salvation Army runs food pantries across the North Texas area that help feed around 10,000 people every week. Along with food, the pantry may also have other essentials like clothing, furniture, and household items available through their thrift store operations.

Additional Support

The Salvation Army offers a wide range of services beyond food. These include emergency shelter, addiction recovery programs, domestic violence support, veteran services, youth programs, and emergency family services. If you're in a crisis, you can reach the Emergency Family Services Hotline at 214-424-7050 or the Domestic Violence Hotline at 214-424-7208. They also have warming centers during cold weather and cooling stations during the summer.

Ways to Give

You can support the Salvation Army in several ways. Financial donations can be made online at give.salvationarmytexas.org. A $10 gift provides 2 bags of groceries. You can also donate gently used clothing, furniture, appliances, household goods, and automobiles. To schedule a free donation pickup or find a drop-off location, visit satruck.org or call 1-800-SA-TRUCK (1-800-728-7825). All donated goods are tax-deductible. Corporate and faith-based partnerships are also welcome.
