Lake Travis Crisis Ministries
Who Can Visit?
Lake Travis Crisis Ministries welcomes anyone who lives or works within the Lake Travis Independent School District. That includes zip codes 78734, 78738, and 78669. You don't need to belong to a church or share any particular faith to receive help. Everyone is welcome here, no matter your background, income, or situation.
No appointment is needed. Just walk in during open hours and a volunteer will greet you at the door. New clients can complete paperwork and receive food the same day.
If you live outside these zip codes, the site findhelp.org can connect you with resources near you.
How Often You Can Visit?
Food pantry services are available on an ongoing basis, so you can come back as often as you need. Financial assistance is designed for short-term crisis situations. If you need longer-term support, volunteers can help connect you with other community resources.
Good to Know
Your privacy is fully protected. Everything you share stays with the staff and is only used to determine how they can help you. LTCM does not discriminate based on age, national origin, race, disability, color, or sex.
If you can't make it in person, you can reach out through the online contact form or call tel:(512)266-9810.
Food & Essentials
The food pantry is stocked every week with items sourced from the Central Texas Food Bank and local donors. What's available changes from week to week, but there's always something to take home. The pantry typically includes fresh and canned goods.
For food pantry visits, you don't need to bring anything at all. Just come as you are.
LTCM also accepts donated goods including: canned meat, vegetables, beans, and fruit; peanut butter and jelly; cereal and snack bars; water, juice, and sports drinks; diapers in children's and adult sizes; and toiletries and personal care items.
How to Pick Up
Come in person during open hours:
- Wednesday: 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
The pantry is located at 1304 Ranch Road 620 North, Suite 100, Lakeway, TX 78734, in the lower part of ACTS Church. No appointment is needed.
Additional Support
Beyond food, LTCM may be able to help with urgent financial needs. Help may be available for rent, mortgage payments, utilities like electricity, water, and gas, car expenses, medical and prescription costs, eyeglasses, long-distance bus tickets, and GED test fees. The amount of help available depends on current funds and how many neighbors are being served at the time. Bring any bills or invoices related to your situation when you visit.
LTCM also provides vision screening and glasses for school-age children.
They can also connect you with other community resources for food, housing, healthcare, transportation, legal help, and more.
