Who Can Visit?
Blessed Angels Community Center is an emergency food pantry that welcomes anyone in need. They've served seniors, children, veterans, people with disabilities, evacuees, homeless individuals, and families across San Antonio. An appointment is required before your visit.

Food & Essentials
Each family receives a variety of nutritional perishable and nonperishable food items. You can expect staples like rice, beans, canned goods, cereals, peanut butter, and tuna. The pantry also hands out diapers, toiletries, pet food, clothing, medical equipment, heaters, fans, school supplies, and toys to families in need.
How to Pick Up
Food assistance is offered weekly by appointment. Call or email ahead to schedule before you come in.
Additional Support
- Seniors 60 and older: The center hosts a special monthly distribution of healthy nutritional groceries and fresh vegetables for senior citizens and their families.
- Veterans: As a partner of the American GI Forum National Veterans Outreach Program, the center provides food and toiletries to homeless and low-income veterans, including at the Annual Veterans Stand Down.
- Texas Diaper Bank: Through a partnership with the Texas Diaper Bank, diapers are available for babies and children with disabilities. Call for an appointment.
- Career training and counseling services are available on site as well.
Ways to Give
Blessed Angels is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and every $1 donated helps provide 7 meals. The pantry accepts monetary donations, food, clothing, and household items. If you'd like to start a food drive, the most-needed items are beans, canned chili, canned luncheon meats, canned soup, canned stew, cereal, macaroni and cheese, mixed fruit cups, peanut butter, pop-top food items, rice, and tuna.
