San Antonio Food Bank
Who Can Visit?
The San Antonio Food Bank is here to help anyone in Southwest Texas facing food insecurity. Each week, they provide food and resources to over 105,000 people across the community. To receive food at a distribution event, you'll need to register online in advance.
How to Register?
Visit freshtrak.com to find available food distribution events near you. Choose a time slot, complete the registration, and save your confirmation code. Events that require pre-registration will issue a confirmation code — if you don't receive one, the event is full and you'll need to sign up for another. If you need help finding a distribution or signing up, call Client Services at (210) 431-8326 Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM, or Saturday from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Good to Know
The on-site curbside program at this location runs as scheduled events, so food availability at this specific address depends on what's on the calendar. Use freshtrak.com to see what's coming up. When an event is happening, reviewers say the process is quick and well-organized, with volunteers loading food directly into your car. Food quantity and variety can change from event to event.
Food & Essentials
Distributions can include fresh vegetables and fruits, canned goods, grains, bread, proteins, dairy products, and frozen items. Exact contents vary by event. Some reviewers reported receiving large quantities of one type of produce, while others received a broader variety that filled their fridge, freezer, and pantry. The food bank also rescues and distributes millions of pounds of fresh produce through its Fresh Produce Rescue program.

The San Antonio Food Bank runs an on-site curbside program at this location. You stay in your car and volunteers load food into your vehicle for you.
