Who Can Visit?

The Basilica of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Food Pantry and Soup Kitchen is open to individuals and families in need. They serve the homeless, homeless veterans, and people who are poor, including children who don't get federally funded school meals when school isn't in session.

Food & Essentials

Visitors receive a full bag of food, not just a few canned goods. The pantry provides a mix of nutritious meat, fruit, and vegetables, as well as other items. Hot meals are also provided.

How to Pick Up

The pantry serves an average of 600 families per week, four days a week, on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. A USDA food distribution takes place on Mondays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

Additional Support

The pantry offers hot meals to the homeless and veterans in the community. They work to help people feel a sense of dignity in providing for their families and have been a pillar of support in the Tidewater region for more than 100 years.
