The Community Feed at Jordan-Newby is open to anyone who needs food. You just need to sign up for a card when you visit for the first time.

Visitors get to choose from a wide variety of food. Most items are fresh, though some fruits and vegetables may occasionally be older. Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the experience is described as comfortable and enjoyable.

Additional Support
The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia offers SNAP assistance to help people apply for food benefits. On the 4th Tuesday of each month (12:30–3:30pm), a SNAP access event is held at this location. You can contact the SNAP Community Access Manager at (757) 985-2265 for more information. You can also screen for eligibility and apply online through CommonHelp.
