Who Can Visit?

The City Impact Urban Food Bank is open to anyone in the community who needs help with food. Whether you're struggling to make ends meet, recently lost income, or just need a little extra support, you're welcome here. The food bank is a walk-in service, so no appointment is needed. Phone calls are not accepted, so plan to stop by in person.

Items Needed for Registration

Bring a valid ID or driver's license when you come for the first time. On your first visit, you'll register and get a digital card that works as your ID for future visits.

How Often You Can Visit?

You can visit once a month for a large box of food. You can also come back each week for bread and produce. Thursdays are set aside as a non-cook day for people experiencing homelessness.

Good to Know

On your first visit, you'll register and then go to the back where a box is ready for you. You'll also get to pick up fruits and vegetables from a selection area. The food bank is walk-in only and does not accept phone calls. Some visitors recommend checking items before leaving, as a small number of things may be expired. Arriving early can mean a shorter wait.

Food & Essentials

The City Impact Urban Food Bank hands out packages of fresh and nutritious food. Boxes may include meat (like ground meat and steak), bread, dairy items (milk, eggs, and yogurt), fruits, fresh vegetables, cereal, pasta, canned goods, and sweets. The contents of each box can vary based on what has been donated. Visitors can also fill a bag with fresh produce and pick up bread. Sometimes extra items like clothing and hygiene products are available too.

How to Pick Up

When you arrive, check in at the entrance. Staff and volunteers will get you through the process quickly and in an organized way. After check-in, you'll go to the back where a food box is prepared. You can also grab a bag and choose fresh fruits and vegetables from the available selection. On your first visit, you'll receive a recurring voucher to use on your next visit.
