Who Can Visit?
The Lovewell Center is open to people who are experiencing homelessness or living in poverty. To take advantage of the services, you'll need to become a member first. Membership is what makes it possible to earn points and shop for the resources you need.
To become a member, visit the center during open hours on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm at 846 E Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89104, or call 702-334-0696 to get started.
Good to Know
The center offers a shuttle pickup and drop-off service to Sunset Park at the start and end of each day.
Food & Essentials
The Lovewell's food store is called The Eatwell. Through the point system, members can use earned credits to get food there. The center also hosts a Community Breakfast on Wednesdays from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, which is open to those in need.
How to Pick Up
The Lovewell uses an earn-and-shop model. Members attend classes and programs to earn credits, then shop for food and other items at The Eatwell food store. It's not a traditional handout system; instead, it's designed so that members feel the value of what they receive.
Additional Support
The Lovewell offers a wide range of support beyond food. Members can get help with food stamps (SNAP) and medical assistance. The center also runs hourly classes where you can earn points, including Christian Bible study, self-improvement, arts and crafts, movies, and bingo. There are also end-of-day chores available for extra points. If you're in immediate need and can't wait, you can also check out Nevada 211 Resources for other local help.
Facilities
The Lovewell has several on-site facilities that members can use with earned points. These include The Smellwell, which offers showers and laundry, The Dresswell clothing store, and The Stylewell hair salon. Members can also charge their phones and use a computer during their visit.
Ways to Give
The Hub LV, which runs The Lovewell Center, welcomes financial donations. You can give online at their donation page, or write a check made out to "The Hub LV Inc." and mail it or drop it off at PO Box 230376, Las Vegas, NV 89105. Physical item donations can be dropped off directly at The Lovewell Center (846 E Sahara Ave) during operating hours: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. You can also visit their Stock Our Shelves page to see what physical donations are currently needed. For questions about giving, email serve@thehublv.org or call or text 702-763-3717.
How to Join the Team?
