  • Emergency Lodge Night Shelter - A no-fee overnight shelter is available until capacity is reached. There are also hostel beds for a $20 fee. All are welcome.
  • Day Resource Center - Open daily from 8 AM to 4 PM. Guests can shower, do laundry, stay cool or warm, and work with case managers for additional services and referrals.
  • Vocational Programs - Working with the College of Southern Nevada and local businesses, the campus offers academic training and practical work experience in various fields, including a Culinary Arts training program. There's also a forklift certification and other essential job skills training.
  • Veteran Services - Located at 35 West Owens Avenue, North Las Vegas, NV 89030, this program supports veterans struggling with homelessness, unemployment, and more. The Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program helps low-income veterans find and keep stable housing. Call 702.701.5374 for veteran services.
  • Homeless Services and Case Management - Case managers are available to help guests connect with a full range of programs and resources to help turn their situation around.
  • Spiritual Services - The chapels on the Lied Social Services Campus provide nightly services and counseling from the resident chaplain.
  • Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) - A free six-month live-in work therapy program for people fighting addiction, with substance abuse treatment, mental health support, and more.

Facilities

The Day Resource Center (open daily 8 AM to 4 PM) gives guests access to free showers, laundry, and a place to stay out of the heat or cold. Guests are provided soap, lotion, and towels when using shower facilities. There's also a TV area and phone charging available on-site. The chapel is located on campus for worship and counseling.

  • Non-perishable food, baby formula, and diapers - These are gratefully accepted at the Henderson United Corps Family Services location.
  • Recurring gifts, planned giving, and securities - Options like monthly giving, wills, bonds, stocks, and IRA rollovers are available. Contact the Donor Relations Director at 702.423.4158 for more details.

How to Join the Team?

The Salvation Army welcomes individuals and groups who want to volunteer and make a difference. Volunteers help with things like serving the daily community meal, greeting guests at the food pantry, and assisting during the Christmas season by ringing kettle bells or helping with toy distribution.
