St.Augustine Hunger Center
Who Can Visit?
Everyone is welcome at St. Augustine Hunger Center. Meals are completely free and no registration is needed. Just walk in during meal service hours.
Good to Know
The meals are made fresh on-site and served hot. Community members describe the food as genuinely good and say the meals come straight from the oven. This is a sit-down dining experience, so plan to stay for your meal rather than taking food to go. The center is located in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood directly across from Lincoln Park and is served by Greater Cleveland RTA bus routes. For help planning your trip, visit riderta.com.
Food & Essentials
Hot breakfast and lunch are served Monday through Friday. Breakfast runs from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and lunch from noon to 1:30 p.m. The Hunger Center serves thousands of hot meals each year.
How to Pick Up
Meals are served in a community dining setting. Walk in during service hours, take a seat, and a hot meal will be served to you. The center serves meals every day of the week.
Additional Support
Catholic Charities also offers free holiday meals for Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You can attend in person or request a home-delivered meal if you're unable to come in. Visit the Holiday Meals page for details when the holiday approaches.
St. Augustine Parish is also known in the community for helping neighbors with clothing, emergency assistance for rent and utilities, furniture, appliances, and support for people seeking medical help. Visit the St. Augustine Church website to learn more.
Ways to Give
You can make a financial donation at the Catholic Charities donation page or purchase needed items from the center's Amazon Wish List.
