Who Can Visit?
Community Kitchen, Inc. serves free hot meals to anyone who needs them, with no questions asked. You don't need to explain why you're there or prove anything to receive a meal. The food pantry is available to people who live in the local area and have pre-registered to attend.
How to Register?
To use the food pantry, you'll need to pre-register before your first visit. Contact the front desk at 614-252-6428 ext. 235 for more information. The entrance is from the alley in the rear of the building at 640 S. Ohio Ave., Columbus, OH 43205.
How Often You Can Visit?
For the food pantry, visitors can come twice a month.
Good to Know
The food pantry entrance is through the alley at the back of the building. After picking up from the pantry, you're welcome to stay for a hot meal in the dining area.
Food & Essentials
The food pantry provides generous portions of meat, including hamburger and bacon, as well as canned goods and other grocery items.
How to Pick Up
Community Kitchen serves free hot meals on-site. Breakfast is served from 8:30am to 10:00am and lunch from 10:30am to 12:30pm, Monday through Friday. The food pantry is a separate service where visitors come to pick up groceries to take home.

How to Join the Team?
Volunteers are welcome Monday through Friday. There are two shifts available: a morning shift from 7:00am to 10:00am and a mid-day shift from 10:30am to 2:00pm, with three slots per shift. Children who are 14 years old must have a parent or guardian present. To sign up, visit the SignUpGenius volunteer page and pick the dates you'd like to help.
