Who Can Visit?

The United Methodist Free Store is open to all. No appointment is needed — just walk in during open hours. Everyone is welcome to come and shop for free clothing and household items.

The All People's Fresh Market, located at 945 Parsons Ave., is open to any household earning less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines. To become a market member, stop by during open hours to sign up in person.

How Often You Can Visit?

At the Fresh Market, families can get food once a day, every day the market is open.

Good to Know

At the Free Store, tickets are distributed before shoppers are admitted. Groups of about 20 to 25 people are let in at a time and given 15 minutes to shop. Getting there early gives you a better chance at a higher selection of items. There are limits per product, but reviewers say you can still make out well even with just one of everything. Bring a bag or something to carry your items home.

Food & Essentials

The All People's Fresh Market partners with Mid-Ohio Food Collective and focuses on fresh, healthy produce. Reviewers mention receiving food items like canned goods at the Free Store as well.

The Free Store provides gently used clothing for all ages — infant through adult — as well as household items including books, toys, dishes, linens, and baby items. Reviewers mention clothing, housewares, toys, and other goods being available for free.

How to Pick Up

At the Free Store, visitors receive a numbered ticket at the door and are admitted in groups of about 20 to 25 people. Each group has 15 minutes to shop and choose items from the racks and shelves. If you're looking for something specific, ask a staff member so you don't waste time searching.

At the Fresh Market, members stop by during open hours to pick up fresh produce.

Facilities

The Free Store operates like a shop where you browse and pick your own items. There is also a large blue donation bin behind the building for after-hours drop-offs.

Ways to Give

The Free Store accepts gently used clothing (infant through adult sizes) and household items such as books, toys, dishes, linens, and baby items. You can drop off donations during store hours at the rear of the store. For after-hours donations, use the blue bin behind the building. For large furniture, please call ahead at (614) 443-1713 to arrange the donation.

You can also make a financial contribution to Community Development for All People at their donation page.
