Who Can Visit?
Everyone is welcome at Mid-Ohio Kitchen at Reeb. The café is open to all community members, no matter what. No registration is needed before your first visit.
Good to Know
The café serves fresh, chef-made meals every weekday at lunch. The menu changes daily based on what's fresh and in season. You can also pick up ready-to-heat prepared meals here, though those aren't available every day. Reviewers say the food is fresh, high quality, and comparable to — or better than — many restaurants.
Food & Essentials
The daily lunch menu includes hot main dishes, fresh vegetables, healthy sides, fresh fruit, cold drinks, and sometimes sweet treats. Chefs use fresh ingredients, including produce grown at Mid-Ohio Farm. Recipes draw from many different cultures, so there's always something new to try. Past dishes mentioned by visitors include meatloaf and Brussels sprouts.
How to Pick Up
Just walk in during lunch hours, Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 2 PM. No reservations are needed. You can call ahead at (614) 230-2708 if you have questions.
Additional Support
Mid-Ohio Kitchen at Reeb also offers ready-to-heat prepared community meals, though these aren't available every day. The broader Mid-Ohio Food Collective network provides many other services you can tap into, including SNAP enrollment help, health insurance enrollment support, WIC (Women, Infants and Children nutrition program), the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (monthly food parcels for eligible seniors), and referrals to job training, childcare help, and addiction recovery programs.
Ways to Give
You can donate money to Mid-Ohio Food Collective at their donation page, set up a monthly gift, mail a check to Mid-Ohio Food Collective, P.O. Box 182883, Columbus, Ohio 43218-2883, or give through a Donor-Advised Fund, IRA distribution, or gift of stock. You can also host a virtual food drive or buy a meal for someone who can't afford one through the pay-it-forward option at the café.
