Who Can Visit?

Mid-Ohio Market at HEART serves neighbors who meet income eligibility guidelines. You can check the eligibility guidelines on the Get Food page. The market serves all zip codes, so you don't need to live in Reynoldsburg to shop here. No appointment is needed. Neighbors can shop weekly.

Items Needed for Registration

On your first visit, bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of address dated within the last 90 days. These documents are recommended but not required. For return visits, bring your government-issued photo ID and your HEART key ring card to scan.

How Often You Can Visit?

Neighbors are welcome to shop once per week.

Good to Know

One shopper per household is allowed inside the market. If you have children with you, curbside boxes are available. Just let the parking attendant know and they'll bring a box with the same items available inside the market to your car. Please arrive no earlier than 15 minutes before opening. The entrance may close early on days with high demand, severe weather, or limited volunteer availability. Parking is available next to the market but it's limited. Walkers and bus riders will be asked to wait before entering to make sure the wait time stays fair for everyone using the car line. Enter via the access road on East Main Street next to the Dairy Queen drive-through.

Food & Essentials

HEART offers a wide variety of food including fresh vegetables, fresh fruit, meat, and dairy. Over 50% of the food provided is fresh. Reviewers have mentioned finding milk, eggs, bread, meat, cheese, cereal, and brand-name items. Day-old bread from Panera is also available, along with sweet treats like pies, cakes, donuts, and cookies. Donations come from nearby businesses like Giant Eagle and Longhorn Steakhouse. The market also carries personal care items and toiletries donated by local salons. Sometimes pet supplies are available as well.

How to Pick Up

HEART is set up like a grocery store so you get to choose the items you want. Signs throughout the market show how many of each item you're allowed to take based on your household size. Volunteers are on hand to help you shop. If you need a curbside option, let the parking attendant know and a box with the same items available inside will be brought to your car.

Additional Support

HEART is part of Mid-Ohio Farmacy, which welcomes neighbors who have a doctor's prescription to shop for fresh produce once a week. HEART also connects families to life-building community resources including work-force development, healthcare, senior care, parent workshops, addiction recovery, budgeting, and nutrition workshops. You can find links to additional community resources like 211, healthcare, utility assistance, and more on the Get Help page. You can also use FreshTrak to find additional food resources in your zip code.

Ways to Give

HEART welcomes financial donations, food donations, and volunteer time. You can donate online at heart-market.org/donate, or mail or drop off a check made out to HEART Food Pantry, Inc. at 6475 E. Main St. Suite 101, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068. For questions about donor advised funds, estate giving, or corporate matching, call (614) 604-8878.
