Who Can Visit?

City Rescue Mission is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to single women, single men, and families with children who are experiencing homelessness in the Oklahoma City metro area. If you need help, you can walk in at any time. The women's and children's entrance is at 800 W. California Ave., and the men's entrance is at 914 W. California Ave. To start the intake process, visit cityrescue.org/contact or call (405) 232-2709.

Good to Know

The Mission has separate entrances for women and children and for men. Volunteers, families, and people from many different backgrounds are welcome. Reviews from former guests note that it's a clean and safe environment with security on site. Registration closes at the time of your intake assessment, so if you leave before completing intake you may need to wait before you can be reassigned a bed.

Food & Essentials

Every guest receives three meals a day through the Mission's on-site kitchen. The shelter has served over 89,000 meals in a single calendar year. Meals are served to all residents as part of the shelter program.

How to Pick Up

Meals are served in the on-site cafeteria to all current shelter residents. There's no separate pick-up process — if you're staying at the Mission, meals are included.
