Good to Know

Food distribution takes place around the lunch hour, from 11am to 12pm. If you arrive outside that window, the door may be locked. Staff can direct you to come back during distribution hours or schedule an appointment online for a future visit.

Food & Essentials

Each visit you'll receive a food box with a three-to-five-day supply of nutritious food and essential groceries to help your family through a tough stretch. The center also provides hot, nutritious community meals to individuals and families in need.

How to Pick Up

Come in person to the center during food distribution hours to pick up your food box. The food is pre-packed and ready to take with you.

Additional Support

Beyond food, the Conroe Community Center offers emergency shelter and transitional housing for adults and families. On-site case managers work with residents to find resources, set goals, and build a path to stability. Staff can also connect you with referrals to other social services in the community.

Ways to Give

You can donate money online at the Salvation Army website. To donate goods, schedule a pickup or drop-off at satruck.org. Cash donations can also be mailed to The Salvation Army Houston, 2407 North Main St., Houston, TX 77009.
