Harmony Food Pantry & Resource Center
Who Can Visit?
The Harmony Food Pantry welcomes all individuals and families in need of food. Anyone can be served the first time on an emergency basis, so don't hesitate to come even if you're not sure you qualify.
For ongoing visits, your household income must be below the current Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) income guidelines. If you live in one of these zip codes, you can sign up for monthly services: 75216, 75211, 75115, 75116, 75137, 75104, 75232, 75233, 75236, 75237, 75224, 75241, or 75249. If you live outside those zip codes, you're still eligible for quarterly services.
Items Needed for Registration
You'll need to bring a photo ID when you visit. You'll also fill out a form at check-in.
Good to Know
Each person receives about 25 pounds of food per visit, which equals roughly five days of meals based on North Texas Food Bank guidelines. The pantry serves around 450 families every month. Visitors have described the line as moving quickly, and staff and volunteers are known for being friendly and welcoming.
Food & Essentials
The pantry provides healthy, nutritious, and high-quality food that covers all five food groups. Items available include fresh vegetables, quality meat, canned goods, eggs, pasta, and frozen chicken or fish. Reviewers have also mentioned receiving fruit, tuna packs, chicken breasts, oatmeal, beans, and even deer meat on occasion. Staff have been known to encourage visitors to grab enough produce and snacks for their household.
How to Pick Up
Food is distributed as a drive-up service. You stay in your car, and staff bring your items out to your vehicle. You'll need to show your ID and complete a brief form when you arrive.
