Who Can Visit?

Food & Essentials

The pantry provides nutritious food to families each week through its Nutritional Center. Beyond food, Community Storehouse also distributes personal hygiene items including toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, combs, soap, deodorant, and feminine hygiene products.

Children and families can also receive clothing through the Dignity Closet, which provides 10 items of clothing every quarter, including new socks and underwear.

Baby supplies are available as well, including diapers, wipes, formula, bottles, pacifiers, baby clothes, blankets, bouncy seats, strollers, swings, and baby monitors.

How to Pick Up

Visitors come to the Nutritional Center at 12001 Katy Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76244 during pantry hours to receive food and other essential items.

Additional Support

Community Storehouse offers a Weekend Snack Pack Program, which delivers nutritious, kid-friendly food to children facing weekend food insecurity. Each week, volunteers assemble and deliver snack packs to local school partners, where counselors and teachers place them discreetly in students' backpacks every Friday.

For children during the summer months, the Summer Food Box program provides families with a box of kid-friendly supplemental food in June, July, and August. School counselors identify eligible students in the spring.

The pantry also runs a Thanksgiving Food Distribution event each year, where families receive food for the Thanksgiving holiday along with extra food for the school break period.

At Christmas, the Christmas House Program provides new, age-appropriate toys to children in low-income families. In 2024, the program served 951 children and distributed 5,283 toys.

An After School Tutoring Program is available for children in grades 1 through 6 who qualify based on economic status and academic need. Students receive one-on-one support in math, reading, and technology skills.

Spring Break Camp and Summer Camp are also offered for children in grades 1 through 6 who qualify based on economic status.
