Who Can Visit?

The Joseph Storehouse is a Community Hope Center that serves families who need help making ends meet. Participation requires pre-qualification to make sure assistance reaches those who need it most. You'll need to fill out a short digital form when you first visit to see if you qualify for membership.

Items Needed for Registration

You'll need to complete a digital registration form in the store on your first visit. The store checks eligibility based on income and need.

Good to Know

A membership card costs $5 per year and unlocks sale prices and other member benefits. Veterans receive free membership. The store accepts SNAP (food stamps). Fridays offer 50% off your total purchase for members, and weekends typically have 30-50% off sales that can move inventory quickly, so weekday visits tend to be less crowded. Many items come from grocery store donations and can be close to or past their freshness dates, so it's a good idea to check labels before buying. Members get free bread with every purchase.

Food & Essentials

The Joseph Storehouse stocks a wide variety of donated and surplus groceries at discounted prices. You can find shelf-stable items like cereals, oatmeal, pasta, chips, cookies, crackers, and other snacks, as well as canned goods, boxed foods, bread, fresh produce, and meat including frozen items. The store also carries household goods, electronics, stationery, and furniture from time to time. Inventory changes regularly since it depends on donations, so you never know exactly what you'll find each visit.

How to Pick Up

The Joseph Storehouse is a self-select store where you browse and pick your own items, similar to a regular grocery shop. You pay at the checkout with cash, card, or SNAP. There's a limit on the number of like items per family per visit. Bring your own bags.

Ways to Give

You can donate to The Joseph Storehouse and its parent organization, World Covenant Ministries, through their Donorbox page. The pantry is funded in part by suggested contributions from members, which helps keep food flowing to families in need.

How to Join the Team?

The Joseph Storehouse welcomes volunteers and also has paid job openings with Walking in Victory Church and World Covenant Ministries. To apply for a position, visit the application form. Community service hours can also be completed here.
