Who Can Visit?

The Cindy Ramsey Center welcomes any neighbor in the community who needs food. No income verification or eligibility screening is mentioned. You can walk in to pick up a Neighbor Care Box anytime the office is open, or you can come to the Saturday Mobile Market drive-through. A third option, the Indoor Market, requires scheduling an appointment in advance.

How to Order?

To shop at the Indoor Market, contact the center to schedule an appointment for a Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday visit. You can reach them at 817-379-4638 or info@cindyramseycenter.org.

How to Pick Up

The center offers three ways to get food. The Neighbor Care Box lets you stop in and pick up food any time the office is open, no appointment needed. The Saturday Mobile Market is a drive-through held every Saturday morning in the Met Church parking lot at 11305 N Riverside Dr. Neighbors are asked to arrive by 8 am; the gate closes at 10 am or when supplies run out. The Indoor Market works like a grocery store where volunteers assist you in selecting items for your household. You'll need to schedule an appointment ahead of time for Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday visits.

Ways to Give

You can support the Cindy Ramsey Center with food donations or a monetary gift. Food donations are always welcome. To give online, visit the donation page.

How to Join the Team?

Volunteers are at the heart of the Cindy Ramsey Center. You can sign up through the Volunteer Portal or browse open shifts on the volunteer calendar. First-time volunteers complete a brief orientation tour where you'll receive and sign the CRC Liability Waiver and Code of Conduct. Volunteers under 16 are welcome, but a parent or adult 21 or older must also volunteer with them. Court-ordered community service hours are no longer approved at the center as of November 2025. Volunteer roles include distributing food at the Saturday Mobile Market, helping neighbors shop at the Indoor Market, preparing the market through restocking and produce work, and setting up a food pantry at a local senior living apartment complex.
