Who Can Visit?
Community Link serves families based on income and where they live. They currently accept appointments for households in these zip codes: 76179, 76131, 76135, 76137, 76177, 76052, 76020, 76244, and 76071, as well as any family with a student attending EMS-ISD. If you don't meet the income guidelines but still need help for any reason, they encourage you to come in anyway.
Appointments are required to pick up food. You can book your appointment online at picktime.com/clmappts.
How to Register?
On your first visit, you'll be asked to verbally share your income, address, and the number of people in your household. No documents are required to bring — the information is kept completely confidential and is used only by Community Link to understand your needs and suggest other helpful services in the area.
How Often You Can Visit?
The website doesn't state a specific visit frequency limit, but reviewers note this pantry is meant to supplement your existing food supply rather than serve as a primary food source.
Good to Know
Reviewers consistently mention receiving a large amount of food, with many describing it as worth $200 or more in groceries. One reviewer says the pantry line typically takes no more than about 20 minutes. Another suggests coming early in the month for the best produce and bakery selection. Food is distributed through a drive-thru setup, so you stay in your vehicle the entire time. Volunteers load everything into your car for you.
Food & Essentials
Community Link provides a wide variety of food, including fresh fruits and vegetables, meat (often frozen), dairy products like milk and eggs, bread and bakery items, and canned and shelf-stable goods. Reviewers mention receiving items like fruit, vegetables, canned goods, milk, eggs, bread, and other grocery staples. The pantry also distributes personal care and hygiene items. Toilet paper is available but you may need to ask for it specifically.
How to Pick Up
Community Link uses a drive-thru distribution model. You stay in your car, and volunteers bring the food out and load it directly into your vehicle. Check-in at the kiosk in the entryway uses your Community Link card (which has your name and a barcode) or your four-digit PIN. The process is generally described as smooth and efficient.
Additional Support
Community Link offers several services beyond food:
- Food Delivery Program: A program for those who can't come in to pick up food in person is listed on the website, though details weren't available in the crawled page.
- Community Food Market: Held in partnership with Tarrant County College and the Tarrant Area Food Bank, this monthly market features a farmer's market-style layout with a variety of fresh foods, including meats and produce. It's held at Tarrant County College NW Campus on the third Friday of the month from 8:30am to 11:30am (or until food runs out). Hours may vary during holidays and when the campus is closed. Always check the events calendar to confirm. Families should bring their own bags and wagons.
- SNAP and Medicaid enrollment help: Representatives are on site to help you enroll in SNAP, Medicaid, and other benefits. Call (817) 847-4554 to schedule an appointment with a Client Services team member.
- Case Management: A case manager can connect you to resources beyond food, including credit repair, ID recovery, SNAP, Medicaid, Medicare savings programs, TANF, SSI, and SSDI. To schedule a first appointment, call (817) 847-4554 or email intakespecialist@communitylinkmission.org.

How to Join the Team?
Community Link welcomes volunteers Monday through Thursday from 8:45am to 1:00pm. You must sign up in advance through the volunteer registration portal. Once registered, you can pick the shifts you'd like to work. When you arrive, clock in using the tablet at the back of the building.
If you're a minor (ages 13 to 16), a parent or guardian must sign a waiver before your first shift. Children under 13 are not permitted to volunteer in the pantry. Wear closed-toe shoes in the warehouse and avoid strong perfumes or scents, as some volunteers have allergies. Community service hours must be pre-approved before your first visit.
