SAAFHOUSE - Food Distribution Center
Who Can Visit?
Cafe SAAF serves people living with HIV who meet Ryan White eligibility criteria. A valid meal card is required to receive any meal, so you'll need to arrange one before your first visit.
How to Register?
You don't need to already be a SAAF client to get a meal card. Your case manager at any HIV Service Provider can complete the eligibility documentation and send a referral to SAAF on your behalf. Once you have your card, remember that your eligibility must be renewed every six months through your primary HIV service provider.
Items Needed for Registration
Bring your meal card every time you visit. You'll be asked to show it for each meal.
Good to Know
Since 1986, SAAF has been preparing free hot meals with the specific dietary needs of people living with HIV in mind. All menus are developed to support the health of HIV-positive guests. Special holiday meals are prepared and served on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Check in with your case manager regularly to review your needs and keep your eligibility current.
Food & Essentials
Cafe SAAF serves three free hot meals every day of the year, including on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Every menu is designed to meet the nutritional needs of people living with HIV.
How to Pick Up
Show your meal card at each meal service. Meals are served three times a day, 365 days a year.
