Who Can Visit?
The MCCSA Food Pantry is open to anyone in the San Antonio community who needs food. There are no income or residency requirements to receive groceries.
Items Needed for Registration
On your first visit, bring a photo ID. You'll fill out a short form at the pantry so they can keep you on record for future visits.
Good to Know
Arrive early because the line can get long. Bring your own bags to carry your groceries home.
Food & Essentials
The pantry provides a wide range of groceries including canned vegetables, fresh vegetables like potatoes and carrots, canned and fresh fruits like oranges and apples, soup, cereal, oatmeal, rice, beans, canned meat and fish, pasta, ramen noodles, crackers, peanut butter, jelly, and boxed meals. Reviewers also mention meats and fresh bread available on distribution days. Non-food items include hygiene products, household essentials, paper towels, and toiletries. Dog and cat food is available too.
How to Pick Up
This is a walk-in, client-choice pantry where you pick your own items from what's available that day. No appointment is needed.

Free blood pressure checks are offered during distribution days.

Food donations are also welcome. The pantry is glad to receive canned vegetables, fresh vegetables like potatoes and carrots, canned and fresh fruits, soup, cereal, oatmeal, rice, beans, canned meat and fish, pasta, ramen noodles, crackers, peanut butter, jelly, and boxed meals.
