Saint Joseph's House of Hospitality
Who Can Visit?
Saint Joe's House of Hospitality welcomes anyone who is hungry or in need. The community serves people who are homeless or struggling, and help is offered to all who come. As one visitor shared, it's "a place where if you're in need, help is available." Another wrote that the team is "very helpful" and "will feed you."
Good to Know
The coffee and tea are set out only until they run out or 11:00 AM, whichever comes first, so it helps to arrive early. Bag lunches are handed out during a short window each day, from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM. For grocery bags on Mondays, sign-up starts at 9:00 AM before the bags are passed out, so plan to come in the morning.
Food & Essentials
Saint Joe's serves a hot and tasty lunch through its Hospitality program. Bag lunches, which sometimes feature a hot meal, are handed out every day. A large urn of coffee or tea is also available each morning. On Mondays, the community passes out grocery bags to take home.
How to Pick Up
Food is handed out at the doors of the house. Coffee and tea are set out at the south-facing entrance, and bag lunches are given out at the west-facing entrance. Grocery bags are passed out on Monday mornings after sign-up.
Additional Support
Beyond food, Saint Joe's offers clothing, shelter, and caring support to its guests. The house is also a place where other organizations across the city come to help, so guests can connect with health, legal, housing, and other services all in one spot. The community also goes out on outreach to find people living on the street and offer them assistance.
Facilities
A shower is available on certain mornings, with soap, shampoo, and towels provided. Showers are open Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
