Cooley Avenue Church of God
Who Can Visit?
From Our Fathers Table serves people who live in one of three approved zip codes. You'll need to show proof of your zip code when you register on distribution day.
Items Needed for Registration
Bring a utility bill or a driver's license to verify your zip code at registration.
Good to Know
Distribution runs from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Arrive as early as you can, since food is handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. When you get there, you'll receive a ticket showing your place in line. Average wait times are between 30 and 90 minutes, but there's always plenty of food for everyone. Past visitors have also received seasonal items like a free turkey during the holidays.
How to Pick Up
The pantry uses a client-choice model, meaning you pick the items you want. You won't go home with food you don't need. Distribution takes place in the pantry room at the back of the church.
Additional Support
If you're in desperate need of food between regular distribution days, a limited number of emergency appointments are available each week. Contact the church office at (216) 671-4619 or email jessica.mccalpine@freedomchurchcleveland.org to ask about an emergency appointment.
Ways to Give
You can support the pantry by giving through the church's online giving page.
How to Join the Team?
Volunteers are always welcome on distribution day. Plan to arrive by 7:30 AM to get your instructions before the pantry opens. If you need documentation for community service hours, the pantry can provide verification.
