Good to Know

Food is fresh and not expired, and the facility is clean and well-run. Staff are known for being kind and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Food & Essentials

The pantry stocks a wide range of groceries, including meats, canned goods, breads, pastries, pasta and pasta sauce, and fresh produce like broccoli and other fruits and vegetables. Shampoo and other medicinal products may also be available on occasion. Baby diapers and other baby supplies are on hand too — just ask when you arrive.

How to Pick Up

This is a client-choice pantry where you select the food items you want from what's available. Multiple visitors have highlighted the ability to choose their own groceries.

Additional Support

The Salvation Army can help you apply for SNAP (food stamp) benefits. Staff offer a free pre-screening, and if you're eligible, they'll help you file the application. The Greater Cleveland area also holds seasonal produce giveaways through a partnership with the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, offering a variety of free fresh produce at no cost. For the giveaway, you'll need a photo ID and proof of residency such as a utility bill.

Ways to Give

You can make a monetary donation online at the Greater Cleveland Salvation Army's giving page. You can also donate clothing, furniture, and household items, or a vehicle. All donations stay in the local community to directly support programs.
