Who Can Visit?
City Care Pershing Center serves neighbors experiencing and transitioning out of homelessness in Oklahoma City. If you need emergency shelter for tonight or are looking for a more stable path forward, City Care is here to help. To reserve a bed at the OKC shelter, call (405) 724-8439.
Food & Essentials
Meals are provided to guests at the OKC Night Shelter as part of the shelter stay. Clothing and hygiene items are also available to residents. The shelter offers laundry facilities on site.
How to Pick Up
Emergency shelter guests receive meals as part of their stay. There's no separate food distribution line — food is included with the shelter program.
Additional Support
City Care offers a range of support services for people experiencing homelessness:
- MOE Shuttle — free transportation to other social service providers, resources, and agencies across OKC. You can download the 2026 shuttle schedule or email moe@citycareokc.org for more information.
- Supportive Communities — for people ready to move into permanent, affordable homes with ongoing support. Amenities include case management, benefits enrollment, laundry, community meals and events, an on-site gym, employment support, healthcare coordination, and recovery support.
- Medical Respite — a safe, welcoming place for people to heal after leaving the hospital (coming 2027).
- Housing Navigation and Benefits Enrollment — available to shelter guests.
- ID Recovery — help getting identification documents.
- Pet Hotel and Preventative Care — available at the OKC location.

Facilities
Shelter guests have access to showers, laundry, and a computer lab on site. The OKC location also has a weight room, theater room, and TV rooms. Each resident gets their own furnished room with a phone.

Volunteers can sign up to serve in City Care's programs — from serving coffee to prepping housewarming baskets for neighbors transitioning into housing.
