How Often You Can Visit?

You can come once per household per month.

Good to Know

Bring your digital ID when you arrive for your appointment. Pull into the parking lot and check in with a staff member — they'll direct you to a designated parking spot. Reviewers say you can expect a generous variety of groceries, including fresh produce, meat, dairy, bread, and packaged goods. Some items may be close to their expiration date, so plan to use fresh and perishable items within a few days of pickup.

Food & Essentials

Arlington Charities provides supplemental groceries along with available hygiene and household items. Reviewers mention fresh vegetables, fruits, meat, milk, eggs, bread, pastries, and canned goods. The pantry also distributes personal hygiene products when available.

How to Pick Up

Weekday service is a drive-up, appointment-based model. When you arrive, check in with a staff member in the parking lot. They'll point you to a designated spot, and volunteers will load your groceries directly into your vehicle.

Additional Support

Arlington Charities runs several programs beyond the main weekday food service:

  • Mobile Food Markets: Three monthly drive-up markets open to residents from any zip code, no appointment needed. Lines form early and food is distributed until it runs out. See the dates and locations page for the current schedule.
  • The Market Truck: A mobile unit that brings fresh fruit, produce, and bakery items to food deserts in Arlington, visiting apartment complexes, schools, recreation centers, and faith communities. Contact Tailor@arlingtoncharities.org to bring the truck to your location. See the Market Truck calendar for upcoming stops.
  • Home Delivery Program: For seniors, mobility-impaired clients, and others who can't come in person. Eligibility is based on short-term or long-term disability, being homebound, or lack of transportation. Apply using the same application form.
  • Help for the Unhoused: On Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Arlington Charities provides nutritious sack lunches, snacks, and drinks for unhoused neighbors. Hygiene products and clothing are also offered when available.
  • Educational Classes: The organization offers ESL, citizenship, and SNAP enrollment classes.
  • Tarrant County Resource List: Referrals to other community resources for needs beyond food assistance.

Facilities

Through a partnership with CleanUpUSA.org, on-site showers and haircuts are available once a month for unhoused neighbors.

Ways to Give

Arlington Charities welcomes food and monetary donations. You can donate online or host a food drive. Visit the wish list page to see what items are most needed. For more information, email info@arlingtoncharities.org or call (817) 275-1511.
