Saint Vincent De Paul Society - Food Pantry
Good to Know
The pantry serves clients on a first-come, first-served basis. During busy times, you're encouraged to arrive early to make sure you get helped.
Food & Essentials
Visitors can expect a generous selection of food each visit. Fresh meats are a regular part of the haul — reviewers mention ribeye and chuck steaks, ground beef, chicken (including whole chickens), shrimp, and various types of cod. Produce like green beans, corn, tomatoes, and other vegetables is typically available, along with fruits. Canned goods are a staple, including ranch-style beans, corn, and tomato paste. Bread and bakery items like muffins and cookies are often on hand, and dairy items such as milk are included as well. Boxed and bagged items round out the selection.
Hygiene kits are available too — just ask for one. Items have included dove shampoo, conditioner, herbal essence shampoo, and baby shampoo. Pads are available, though not tampons. Diapers and incontinence supplies may also be on hand.
How to Pick Up
The pantry operates as a client-choice pantry where you select your own items from what's available that day.
Additional Support
The pantry may also be able to help with rent assistance. Ask staff on-site and check the signs posted at the door for details.
