The Bethlehem Center pantry is open to anyone in need. No appointment is required — you can walk in during open hours.
Who Can Visit?
Bread Basket Ministries serves senior citizens, people with disabilities, and anyone going through a tough time who needs emergency or supplemental groceries. Visits are by appointment only, so you'll need to call ahead to schedule your time before coming in.
How to Schedule?
Call (817) 535-2323 on a Monday morning to book your appointment. Food distribution happens on both Mondays (for Spanish-speaking clients) and Tuesdays (for English-speaking clients) on the 2nd and 4th weeks of each month.
How Often You Can Visit?
Clients can visit once per month.
Good to Know
Before food is distributed, Bread Basket offers an optional worship and Bible study called "Food for Thought." Spanish-speaking clients are welcome at the 10:30am Monday service, and English-speaking clients are welcome at the 9:30am Tuesday service. These services are completely optional — if you'd prefer to skip the service, just let a client service assistant know and they'll make other arrangements for you.
Food & Essentials
Bread Basket provides a good supply of groceries each visit, including fresh vegetables. Reviewers describe receiving a large amount of food that helps feed their families.
How to Pick Up
Food distribution is by appointment only. You'll pick up your groceries after the optional "Food for Thought" service. If you opt out of the service, staff will make special arrangements so you can still receive your food.
Ways to Give
Bread Basket Ministries has been serving the community for 38+ years, and every donation goes a long way. Each dollar donated can buy roughly 8 to 15 pounds of food. You can make a secure online donation through their website. All donations are tax-deductible. For questions, contact the office at (817) 535-2323 or mark@breadbasketministries.org.
How to Join the Team?
If you'd like to volunteer at Bread Basket Ministries, call the office at (817) 307-4092. Staff will answer your questions and point you in the right direction.
