The Senior Mobile Pantry is for low-income seniors age 60 and older across San Antonio and Bexar County. All Gonzaba Foundation programs are free for seniors. If you're a senior facing food insecurity, call (210) 640-9400 to find out where the next pantry event will be held.
Food & Essentials
Each month, seniors receive a box with fresh fruits and vegetables, bread, and rice or beans. Box contents change with the seasons. The boxes don't include refrigerated items like milk, eggs, or dairy products.
How to Pick Up
Food is distributed through a drive-thru event held on the third Tuesday of every month. The location changes each time, moving to different spots across San Antonio and the surrounding area, so call (210) 640-9400 ahead of time to find out where the next event will be.
Additional Support
The Gonzaba Foundation also distributes Emergency Hygiene Kits for low-income seniors. Each kit includes paper towels, a toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, showering essentials, laundry detergent, toilet paper, sanitary wipes, and other household cleaning items.
The foundation runs several other free programs for seniors age 60+ in San Antonio, including the Ambassador Program for community leadership and advocacy, Senior Grass Busters for free lawn maintenance, the Spurs Silver Club in partnership with the San Antonio Spurs for discounted tickets and events, and the Golden Gardeners outdoor gardening program.
